Brenda M. Coombs September 9, 1958 - April 11, 2022

With the love of her family in her heart, Brenda Mary Coombs from Terrenceville passed away at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the age of 63.

Brenda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her world revolved around her family. She loved time spent at her cabin and camper. Though quiet and soft spoken, Brenda could be depended on for a joke and some fun. Her sense of humour at work left a lasting impression on her friends and colleagues. She was the embodiment of selflessness – always putting others before herself. She will be tremendously missed by those who were lucky enough to love her and be loved by her.

This sweet, gentle woman will be sadly missed by her husband Frank, sons Jody (Amanda), Josh (Davina) and daughter Jackie (David), grandsons: Carter, Reid, Jaxon and Hayden. Her sisters Diana, Betty (Nick) and brothers Bill (Theresa), Fred (Michelle), Jerome and Dennis. Her sister in laws: Eileen (Eric), Marilyn (Morgan), Ann (James), Catherine, Jeanette, and brother in laws: Tom, Michael, Kevin (Madonna), Chris and Leo Rideout nieces, nephews, family and friends especially Margaret and Gilbert Hynes.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Bridget and William Clarke, grandparents, Angela and George Hickey, nieces Gloria Hoskins and Peggy Ann Clarke, brother in law John Hoskins, sister in laws, Mary Alice and Sandra Coombs.

Brenda’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to every health care professional that supported her and her family throughout her illness. Your exceptional kindness and care will never be forgotten.

Cremation has taken place. A service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 2pm at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville.
