Blanche Audrey West – Fewer's Funeral Home

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, on Saturday, August 6, 2022, Blanche Audrey West of Clarenville, age 67. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Jane Chatman; brothers Harold and Malcom; sister Sophie. Left with fond and loving memories her son Scott (Stephanie); grandchildren Jade, and Kovax; sisters Grace (Phil), Vera (Wince), May (Doug), Anita (Harry); brothers Nelson (Maria), Gerald (Eileen); and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Clarenville on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow in Charlottetown Cemetery. In lieu of flower donations may be made to The Children’s Wish Foundation. In keeping with COVID recommendations masks are required for the visitations and funeral.

I am so very sad to hear of Blanche’s passing. I have nothing but fond memories of Blanche (and her sister, Vera). We had a bond from working together at the college and we enjoyed many a morning coffees chatting about the many things we had in common. To Scott & Family and Blanche’s (Chatman) family –
This is sad news for me to receive and unexpected as I have not been in touch for a while with your mother’s family in Charlottetown. Knowing the Chatman family, I am sure you will be surrounded with love and the many beautiful memories that have been built up over the years.
