Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Hospital in Gander on Sunday, September 13, 2026 Bertha Olive Holloway of Exploits Island aged 85. Lived in Gander owned Pops Place restaurant, “home of the wedgies”. She later resided in Gambo.
Predeceased by her husband Gregory Holloway (2001), sisters Emily and Margaret, brother Ralph.
Left with fond and loving memories her son Boyd Holloway (Laura), daughter Valerie Fast (Gary), grandchildren Brittany, Hannah, Shaylynn, Keyanna, Myles, Zachary, her 7 precious great grand babies, sister Lydia Budgell (Richard Wells), brothers Gilbert Budgell (Greta), Ernest Budgell (Dulcie), Arch Budgell (Bonnie), Roy Budgell (Marilyn), Wilson Budgell (Maggie) and a large circle of family and friends.
Resting at Alton United Church in Port Blandford on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 10 am-10 pm and Wednesday, September 16, 2026 10 am-1 pm Funeral Service at 2:00 pm with interment to follow at United Cemetery, Port Blandford.
