Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at Dr. O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Wednesday November 8, 2023, Bernadette Walsh of Summerville, age 82 years. Predeceased by her husband Gerald; son Larry; parents Lawrence and Mary Ducey; sister Catherine and brother Tony. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Maureen (Albert Ayles), Geraldine (Jeff Tremblett), Shirley (Bruce Greening), Charlene (Terry Brown) and Gerard; daughter-in-law Christine; grandchildren Holly, Michelle, Rocky, Robyn, Terri-Lynn, Joey, Gregory, Adam, Olivia, Victoria, Terrence and Charlie; 16 great grandchildren; sister Lorraine Neary; brothers Bill Ducey and Martin Ducey (Eileen); and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at the Roman Catholic Church, Summerville on Thursday, November 9 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday, November 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Summerville.
