Our beloved father, Armine Stringer passed peacefully away surrounded by his family at the Dr. G.B.Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Saturday January 15, 2022. Armine “Lived” to the fullest every day he had for 82 years. From his passion of berry picking, fishing, trouting, gardening, woodworking, and riding his tractor. His most favorite place to be was at his remote cabin located in St. Jone’s without. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 60 years, Blanche; children Craig (Maxine), Susan (Chris), Dallas (Kurt), Don (Kathy) and Dana (Fabian); grandchildren Danielle, Eric, Colton, Mikayla, Hilary and Austin; special sister Alice (Eldon) Vey; brothers Randy (Jennifer) and Ralph (Judy); step brothers Earl (Sylvia) Haffen and pre-deceased John (Marika) Haffen, and a large circle of family and friends.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville for their care and compassion during his last few days. A special thank you to his family doctor, Dr. Blaine Pearce for a lifetime of dedicated care. As per his wishes cremation will take place with a celebration of life to follow at a later date. To honour his memory donations can be made to ‘The Gathering Place’ and the Food Bank.
