Annie Dove Penney November 26, 1930 - March 9, 2020

PENNEY, Annie Dove – Passed peacefully away at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, March 9, 2020, Annie Dove Penney of Lethbridge, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her husband Archibald; son Lorne; daughters Jocelyn, Lorraine, Catherine and Dorett; grandchildren Richard George and Rosalie Adams; sons-in-law Larry and Shawn.  Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Rosalind (Dave), Randy (Audrey), Sharon (Larry), Brenda and Georgina; daughter-in-law Alma; sons-in-law Winston and Gregory; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sisters Effie Prince and Joy Chatman; sister-in-law Florence Fry; and a large circle of family and friends.  Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge on Tuesday, March 10 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday, March 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the United Church, Lethbridge with interment to follow at the Untied Cemetery, Lethbridge.  In her memory flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the United Church, Lethbridge.

    I will always fondly remember Aunt Dove. She was my second mother. My heart and sympathies is with the Penney and Diamond family.

    To the Penny and Diamond families. Our thoughts and prayers are with u all at this sad Time.Dove was like a mom to us both and had many laughs and meals at her home that was always a loving one.she was an angel.R.I.P. until we meet again.
