Winston Lethbridge November 20, 1954 - August 17, 2024

Passed away suddenly at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Saturday, August 17, 2024 Winston Lethbridge of Clarenville, aged 69 years.  Predeceased by his parents and three brothers.  Left with fond and loving memories his wife Vera of 50 years. His daughters, Tammy and Karen (Shane); grandchildren, Alexandria, Justice, Nash and Mason; sisters, Dorothy, Cavelle and Wanda; brothers, Rick (Pam), Darrin (Sue), Calvin (Diane), Angus (Lois), Lester; and a large circle of family and friends.  As per his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Fewer’s Funeral Home Clarenville on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2024 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville.

    I was shocked and saddened to hear of Wince’s passing. I have so many fond memories of Wince from his time with us at CNA and a few snowmobiling trips.       I would also like to pass on our condolences. I met Wince through my parents and had the chance to have some drinks and a lot of laughs.

      Wince was a great man, always had a funny story to tell and was always willing to lend a hand.

      I’m thankful my parents could have such a great friend and ally, and I feel for them, and everyone else who had the pleasure of meeting him.

    To Wince’s family I wish to pass along sincere condolences to you all during this difficult time. Wince always had a cheerful and charismatic presence in any roomful of people and was a very respected and admired instructor for the Firearms Safety/Hunter Education Course. Over the years, Wince literally taught thousands of aspiring hunters in his community and his efforts have always been outstanding. He was also a wonderful friend to many in his circle. He will be dearly missed. .

I have known Wince for over 50 years, worked closely with him for 21 years, drank a few, laughed a lot, and learned much from him. Anyone who met him was touched by his compassion and humor.
