Passed away peacefully at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, June 27, 2025, William Whalen of Sweet Bay, aged 84 years.
Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Maryellen of 58 years; children Roxanne (Dale), Rod (Tracy), Rochelle (John) and Roger (Lisa); grandchildren Ryan (Katie), Amber (Don), Jemma, Faith, Cameron, Michayla , Danielle (Jordan) and Charlotte; great grandchildren Connor, Callie, Payton, Liam and Lyla; mother-in-law Janie Dooley; sisters Mary Ivany (Boyd) and Theresa Locke (Fred); brother Leo (Leona); numerous nieces and nephews and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Wake service will be held at the Roman Catholic Church, Sweet Bay on Monday, June 30 at 7 p.m. Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church Sweet Bay with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Sweet Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital – Palliative Care Unit.
