Passed away suddenly at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Friday, January 23, 2026, Wayne Penney of Lethbridge, age 77 years.
Predeceased by his parents George and Emma Penney; sister Jill Vincent-Strong; brother-in-law Tony Vincent; sisters-in-law Verlie Penney and Diane Penney.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Peggy of 53 years; sons Cory (Paulette) and Mervin (Judy); grandchildren Gorgia and Taylor, whom he adored; sisters Gail Holloway (Wilfred), Carol Skiffington (Andy), Michelle Wiseman (Wayne) and Dorothy Ann Butt (Rex); brothers Terry (Anne), George Jr. (Linda), Murray and Robin (Philomena); brother-in-law Shawn Strong; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Visitation Monday, January 26 from 7 – 9 p.m. and Tuesday, January 27 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at the Anglican Church, Jamestown with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Jamestown.
