Trixena (Trixie) Haynes January 12, 1926 - June 27, 2022

Passed away peacefully at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor in Clarenville, NL, Canada at age of 96 Trixena (Trixie) Mae Haynes (nee Russell) on Monday, June 27, 2022.  Predeceased by husband Joseph Charles Haynes; granddaughter Alison Baker; parents Zebedee and Julia Russell; brothers Rex, Jim and twin baby boy brothers as well as her daughter in law Eleanor Haynes (Jeff). Left to mourn is her sister Elsie Roberts; and to celebrate her life, her nine children: Rex (Judy), Donna (Lew Hounsell), Brenda (Dennis Baker), Joe (Frank Pelligra), Kevin (Kathleen), Jeff, Pam (Rick Lethbridge), Chris (Ellen), Barry (Judy Wiseman). Family was her #1 priority and she was blessed with a large one! She lived her life enjoying her 9 children, 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. Numerous other family and friends will miss her considerably.  Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville with visitations on Wednesday, June 29, 2022  from 7-9 PM and on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be 2 PM on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel with interment at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville.  In her memory, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to charity of one’s choice. We cannot pay tribute without mentioning her love to travel; and her many years as a Snowbird to Florida. The ground is not the final resting place for those who believed in God! Rest easy, good job always well done, with so much love we say good-bye!

Funeral Service will be 2 PM on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Fewer's Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with interment at the Interdenominational Cemetery, Clarenville.

    Our sincere condolences on Trixie’s passing. She was a grand lady who lived a fine life. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we won’t be able to give you our condolences in person but know we’re thinking of all the family.

    Our sincere condolences to all of Aunt Trixie’s family, she will truly be missed. Aunt Trixie’s was full of life I will always remember her that way, she was such a beautiful person.     Rex, Judy and the entire family,:
    We would like to say how saddened we were to hear of Trixie’s passing. We both have many fond memories of her from our time living in Clarenville..
    Be consoled by all the precious memories, and there are lots, and in the long wonderful life she lived. She was a beautiful lady who always had a very positive outlook.
