Paula Ings Sinclair October 31, 1968 - June 25, 2022

It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Paula Ings-Sinclair after a lengthy battle with illness, at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, of Conception Bay South, aged 53 years.  Paula’s predeceased by her husband Terry Sinclair; father George; and stepfather Whitfield Ivany.  Left with fond and loving memories are her mother Florence Ivany; sisters, Karen (Darryl), Trina (Nathanael), Jessica (Ryan); brothers, Norm (Cassie), Terry (Michelle), Robbie (Sonja); her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly, Terry George, Kelsey, Hailey, Riley, Jimmy, Addison, Brayden, Nolan, Kevin, Phillip, Brianna (Dylan), Braiden, Bianca, Kaleb, Kristi and Kurt as well as special god children whom she dearly loved, Riley, Lucas and Lily.  Also cherished to her Kayla Warford and Kelsey Staring.

Paula had no children of her own but was a mother and ‘Nana’ to many. She had a large circle of friends who she considered family and was at her happiest when surrounded by a crowd. Throughout her battles with sickness Paula’s positivity and humor were steadfast and her passion for life was unwavering. She gave from the heart and was involved in numerous charities and fundraisers including Special Needs, Random Island and Smiths Sound Firehalls, and the Legion. A true gift to all who knew her and her presence will forever be missed.

At her request cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Kidney Foundation under her name would be appreciated.  www.kidney.ca  A service will take place at a later date.

I am a proud friend of Paula’s for almost 40 years. Years come and go, things change and people change but Paula remained the same. She wasn’t afraid to voice her opinion, she stood up for her friends, no matter what, and she had loving, giving heart. Anyone who knew Paula was better for it. Her presence in the community was known and she gave of herself freely. She faced many health challenges but none of them challenged her spirit and love of life. Losing her beloved Terry was the hardest for her but she knew in time she would be with him again. I will miss your beautiful smile, my friend, but my heart is full knowing that your broken heart is whole as you are reunited with your soul mate.
