October 7, 2020 at 2:32 pmTo Dulcie, the kids and all of Tom’s sisters: I know you all – and I know how heartbroken you must be to lose Tom. He was this quiet fellow who loved music – and taught a whole bunch of us teenagers how to play guitar back in the late 70’s. Those lessons changed my life as I continued on in developing my playing skills. We’d love to all sit there on that front pew strumming away and Tom doing his amazing picking on the lead guitar. Hold on to the good memories!! Keeping an eternal perspective will help you a lot in our grief journey. Remember, we do not grieve as if we had no hope – there is a hope and thank God that HE has made a Way for us all to be reunited. Thinking of you all and praying for peace and strength as you grieve this tremendous loss.

So sorry to hear of Tom’s passing. I remember meeting Tom when I was first married to my late husband, Ray Stringer, in the early 1970s. Both Tom and Ray shared a love for music, especially the guitar. May the God of all comfort grant you strength and peace at this difficult time.
