Suzanne Crummey November 11, 1929 - January 4, 2020

Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista on Saturday, January 4, 2020, Suzanne Cecilia Crummey (Roberts) of Change Islands, aged 90 years. Suzanne had a wonderful nursing career in St. John’s, raised her family and retired with her husband to Random Island.   Suzanne is pre-deceased by her loving husband Bert Crummey, parents Caroline and Fred Roberts; sisters Ruth and Elizabeth and brother Dan. Leaving to mourn are her children Ann (Joe), Fred (Debbie), Vera (Brian) and Danny (Reagan); 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Clarenville Retirement Centre, Shirley’s Haven and Golden Heights Manor for their special care over the past few years. Suzanne always enjoyed a social life and a good laugh and we are sure she would like to acknowledge Dr. Phil, Rachel Ray, Judge Judy, The Price is Right and the girls from “The Talk” who kept Suzanne entertained daily.   Cremation has taken place and a family service and committal will be held at a later date.

Vera, Ann and families, we’re so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing. Although we never knew her it is evident that she passed her love of life and wonderful sense of humour onto her family. God bless.

Kunthi and I were saddened to hear of Aunt Sue’s passing and consider ourselves very fortunate to have seen her seen last September during our trip to NL. Sue, Dan, Betty and Ruth are all together again in the house of the Lord. Rest in Peace.
