Passed away surrounded by his family and friends at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, Stanley Whalen of Caplin Cove, age 80 years. Predeceased by his parents Ebenezar and Emily Whalen; step mother Gladys Dean; wife Woodrow; brother Hedley (Emma), Bill (Rachel); and sister Ethel Jacobs (Bill). Left with fond and loving memories are his children Rod (Helen), Sheila (Robert) and Tony (Jennifer); grandchildren Darrin (Cassandra), Desmond and Christopher; great grandchildren Hudson, Brynleigh and Gemma; sister Irene (Roy Critch) and Marcie (George Hillyard); and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Little Hearts Ease. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the United Church, Caplin Cove with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Caplin Cove.
