Passed unexpectedly away at the Dr. G.B Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Friday, June 5, 2020 Sean Michael Funk of Clarenville, aged 52 years. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Michelle (nee Smith) of 27 years; sons Alex, Ben, Tim all of Clarenville; parents Dorothy Funk of Harbour Grace and Bill Funk of Mason, Tennessee; sisters Suzanne Funk (Mark Cooney) of Stirling, Ontario and Colleen Murray (Rob Lewis) of Belnan, Nova Scotia; brothers Paul (Melissa Hollingsworth) of Eads, Tennessee and Mark (Colleen Casey) of Eads, Tennessee; brother in law Scott Murray of Lantz, Nova Scotia and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. A Private Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, June 9 with cremation to follow. In his memory, flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.

I was one of Sean’s first customers when he opened The Medicine Shoppe and grew to be good friends with him.
