Sandra Joan Robertson (nee Winsor) February 26, 1947 - March 16, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Robertson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Sandra passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 16, 2026, at the age of 79.

Sandra was the loving wife, partner, and best friend of K.C. Robertson with whom she shared 56 years, the cherished daughter of Washington and Elizabeth Winsor, a gentle, generous, loving, mother to Janelle (Dennis) and Justin (Andrea) and a doting grandmother to Marcus and Scarlett.   The 11th of 12 siblings Sandra was a dear sister and a treasured aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Originally from St. John’s Sandra lived most of her life in Lethbridge, Bonavista Bay, and was a person who touched many lives.  Known fondly as ‘Miss’ to her students at Bay-View, SDA School in Lethbridge, ‘Skipper’ to teenagers that worked on the farm, and the ‘Strawberry Lady’ to U-Pick and Farm Market customers, she was an integral part of the community for more than 50 years.  She loved mowing the lawn, weekend sightseeing, trouting, in spite the flies, and her huskies, Sasha and Jake.

Family will receive visitors at Fewer’s Funeral Home, in Lethbridge, on Thursday, March 19 from 2-9 p.m. and Friday, March 20 from 10am until noon. Funeral service will be held at the Lethbridge Seventh Day Adventist Church on Friday, March 20 at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in memory of Sandra to the organization of your choice.

Sandra will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her spirit and kindness will live on in the hearts of everyone she touched.

Funeral service will be held at the Lethbridge Seventh Day Adventist Church on Friday, March 20 at 2 p.m.

Dear K.C. Janelle, Justin, and extended families. Wayne and I were deeply saddened to hear of Sandra’s passing this past Monday! We both have many lovely memories of when we attended the SDA Academy on Freshwater Rd. during our early to mid-teens. We will always remember Sandra’s sweet smile and gentle ways! Sandra and I were distant cousins on my Dad’s side of the family, however we lost contact with one another over the years when both of us married and lived many miles apart. Please know that Wayne and I will be thinking of you and praying for you at this very difficult time, and in the coming days. May you each find comfort in your love for one another, and the Peace that only God can give you. We look forward to the day when there will be no more pain or dying to sadden our hearts! May the good Lord Bless and keep you always in His care. Sincerely, Sharon & Wayne Taylor

K.C, Janelle, and Justin, I’m so sorry to hear of your unimaginable loss. My heart goes out to you, it hard to now what to say…no words I believe will make you pain subside, time and share all the memories you have of her. Your mom was such an adorable person on the inside and outside, she was my farm mom for so many seasons, she made the most incredible breakfasts…and served me my first piece of real fried chicken. She seemed to have an endless supply of tissues and bandaids..and patience for all the kids cutting greens. She was a wonderful person. My family and I will have you all in our prayers, and I know I’ll be telling endless farm stories about everyone this weekend to my kid keeping the memories alive. Love and miss you all
