Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Saturday, December 13, 2025, Rosalie Chatman of Canning’s Cove, age 80 years.
Predeceased by her husband David; daughter Kimberley; parents Reginald and Debbie Hobbs; brothers Ennis, Raymond, Terrance and Perry; sister Louise.
Left with fond and loving memories her children Maureen Greening (Clyde), Peter Chatman and Joanne Reid (Kerry); grandchildren Melissa (Greg), Tim (Stephanie), Aaron (Jessica) and Ross; great grandchildren Claire, Emily, Anna, Wyatt, Beau and Andrew; sisters Marie, Alvina (Enos) and Whilimena (Clayton); brothers Alexander (Kay), Kirby (Rodena), David (Glenda), Kater (Annette) and Bernard; sister-in-law Elva and a large circle of extended family and friends.
Resting at St. John The Divine Anglican Church, Canning’s Cove on Monday December 15 from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday December 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place at 2:00 pm from St. John The Divine Anglican Church on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 with interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Canning’s Cove.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John The Divine Anglican Church, Canning’s Cove.
