November 21, 2024 at 5:32 pmI met Rollie in 1997 when I built my cabin on the Walsh River. He had a cabin on the river so I went to visit and get some ideas as to how I should build my cabin. We went ice fishing together at one time.
My condolences to the entire family. Trust his memories will help you to move forward.

November 21, 2024 at 9:15 pmI’m so sorry for your loss. I send along a little poem I wrote for loss of family.
Yesterday I felt okay, I smiled when I thought of you.
I remembered happy times and the funny things you do
But today I feel so very sad, I think of you and cry.
I missing you so very much, and still I’m asking God why?
I don’t know what will happen when I face another day.
What will tomorrow bring? Will I cry or be okay?
This roller coaster of emotions is the worst side of my life.
Nothing can prepare you for the never ending strife.
I may not handle my emotions the way that I should do.
But I still thank the Lord for the time that I had with you.

I knew Roland for over 35 years having a Cabin next to him on Walsh River and played hockey with him for about fifteen years..Roland (Rollie) as we called him was a true gentleman with a heart of gold. Enjoyed lots of laughs and great times on our hockey trips to Montreal.
Until we meet again my friend.
Rest easy Rollie.
