Passed peacefully away at home surrounded by his family on July 14, 2020, Robert (Bob) Reginald Shepherd at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn, his wife of 64 years Edith (Sheaves); daughters Debbie Humber (Ed) and Diane Shepherd; son-in-law Rev Gordon Druggett; grandchildren Sara, Jessica, Erin, Kelly, Mark and Robert; great grandchildren Charlotte, Luna, Connor, Benjamin, Thomas, Issa and Patrick; and a large extended family. Predeceased by his daughter Donna Druggett (April 2020); his parents Rev. Reginald Shepherd and Edith (Thorne) and his brothers Douglas, Aidan and Paul. A private family graveside service will be held in Clarenville on Saturday, July 18, 2020. Donations may be made in Bob’s memory to the Janeway Children’s Hospital in St. John’s. The family would like to give a special thank you to the wonderful workers from Compassion Home Care who so lovingly helped care for him in these recent difficult months.
