Passed peacefully away at the Hilltop Manor in Arnold’s Cove, Robert Dunphy “Bobby” of Southern Harbour aged 79 years. Predeceased by his mother, Annie; father, Patrick; brothers, John, Kevin, Patrick; and sister Mary. Left with fond and loving memories his niece Roxanne (Glen); nephews, Kevin, Patrick (Vanessa), Shannon (Shirley), and Leon (Michelle); sister-in-law, Christina; brother-in-law, Kevin; and a circle of extended family and friends. As per his wishes cremation to take place. Resting at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church Southern Harbour date and time to be confirmed. Memorial service to take place from Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, Southern Harbour date and time to be confirmed. Interment will follow the service at Roman Catholic Cemetery, Southern Harbour. Bobby will be remembered as a kind hearted soul who never complained about anything even through his illness he always smiled and said “I’m ok”. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and residence of Hilltop Manor where he spent his last couple of years. He loved you all and called the manor his home.

He was really special person and always kind and made my stay down there a great one, he always check on me when I was down there and my husband was gone, I felt so safe knowing he was around.
