Rickey Barrett

Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, at Dr. G B Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Thursday, May 4, 2023, Rickey Barrett of Arnold’s Cove, age 63 years. Predeceased by his parents Garland and Ruby Barrett. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Norma of 42 years; children Justin and Melissa (Paul); grandchildren Ava Ryan, Layla Ryan and Quinn Barrett; sisters Carrie Leonard (Peter), Priscella Ryan (Vince), Beulah Spurrell (Ellis) and Kelly Barrett; brothers Robert (Joy), Maxwell (Carol), Keith (Karen) and Melvin (Shelley); parents-in-law Elwin and Lillian Boutcher; a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Arnold’s Cove. Visitations on Sunday, May 7 from 2 – 5 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2023 at the United Church, Arnold’s Cove with cremation to follow. A private burial will be held at a later date.
