Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center in St. John’s, on Monday, May 5, 2025 Rick S. Eddy of Garden Cove, aged 64 years. Predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Dorothy Eddy; brother, Mike; his two sisters, Bernice and Alice; brother-in-law Anthony Rideout. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Darlene of 10 years. His children Jessica (Chris) Santos, Krista Eddy; step-daughters, Ashley (Katrina) Bartlett, Katrina (Nathan) Fillmore; grandchildren, Caleb and Gianna; sisters, Rita, Gladys (Walt), Louise; brother, Rob (Diana); nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many cousins, as well as a large circle of family and friends. As per his wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, July 5, 2025. More details to follow.
Rick was a kind, loving and generous man who was loved by everyone who knew him. He made friends instantly because of his magnetic personality. His love for his family, friends, dog Jake, stepdaughters (and food) knew no bounds. Rick had a passion for the great outdoors, but his greatest passion was riding his motorcycle. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in all of us forever.

He was such a nice cousin and I was so glad to get to see him and Darlene a few falls ago and to be able to pick up a knife that he made for us. He was certainly talented making knifes. Loved his motor cycle and loved everyone. Rest assured our thoughts and prayers are with ye all at this sad time. We love ye all.
