Hearing of your passing was absolutely heartbreaking. You were like an uncle to Makenzie and I. My mom and step dads great friend. To know that we have lost such a kind and loving person makes this world so cruel. But only the good die young.
You were always so welcoming and cheerful no matter where we were.
No matter where we were there was always a laugh to be had mostly from you shouting “Hey Pretty Baby” at the top of your lungs.
You always gave the clothes off your back to everyone around you, because that was the person you were. Always making sure that everyone was taken care of before yourself.
We will meet again someday and have a drink together. Until then rest easy Richard. You will be dearly missed.
My condolences to Holly and the rest of the family. My heart is definitely in Newfoundland today.
      Hugs.
