October 7, 2025 at 9:33 pmTo the Biles Family,
Sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I have many fond memories of times spent around the kitchen table at their home in St. Anthony. Your Mom and Dad showed true hospitality and love as they welcomed me into their home. As a young Christian at the time they helped me grow and mature in my faith by their words and by their everyday life. They were a great Christian couple who had a positive impact on my life.. In later years it was our privilege to visit with them in Georges Brook / Shoal Harbor and rekindle our friendship..

October 8, 2025 at 8:50 pmI am so sorry to hear of the Reverend ‘s passing. I always enjoyed my visits with him at the PCCR and O’Mahony Manor when I held church services. I always tried to “stump” him with a hymn or a Sunday School chorus that I knew but one that he didn’t know; but he knew them all! I remember, one time I was singing the old chorus, “Give Me That Old Time Religion” and I thought I sang all the verses and started to end the song when all of a sudden Reverend Biles lifted up his voice and started singing one more verse, “It was good for Paul and Silas and it’s good enough for me!”
He will be missed. May the God of all comfort strengthen your hearts today and forever more. What a great assurance we have that heaven is the home for the Child of God!
My deepest condolences.
