It was with heavy hearts we watched as aunt Phyllis prepared to leave us. We were glad to get to visit with her a while ago and share memories together. She had that same smile even though she was very weak and suffering greatly. She joked about us when I said I think we were pretty good and stayed out of trouble. A smirk came across her face. Your mom will be dearly missed but you have many wonderful memories to cherish forever. Cecil you are also in our thoughts and prayers at this time. We will see you all soon. Love you all.

Cindy’ Lorne and family Cecil, and all family. We were so sad to hear of Aunt Phyliss’s passing. She was such a good Aunt and earlier in years I would spsnd a lot of time with Aunt Phyliss from tjme to time. She was always so glad to see us come visit. Last fall we spent a couple hours with her and Cecil. Had a great chat. She loved Cindy and Lorne and all the grandchildren and great great grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. We’ will look forward to meeting you in heaven Aunt Phyliss. Our thoughts and prayers are with ye all at this sad time.

When I think of Aunt Phyllis I see her compassion, thoughtfulness and love. Then I also see that little sparkle of mischief in her eye and the smile that went with it as you knew she was thinking something about the situation but exactly what she was thinking was going to stay a secret that only she knew. I will miss her great little chuckle and sense of humor. I will miss receiving her birthday and holiday texts – they always brightened my day and she never missed one. Love you all and wish we could be there.
