Phyllis Gosse March 12, 1933 - December 22, 2024

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Sunday, December 22, 2024 Phyllis Gosse of Clarenville, aged 91 years.  Predeceased by her parents, William and Selina Goodyear; her husband, Fred Gosse; siblings and sibling-in-laws; son-in-law, Gordon Laite. Left with fond and loving memories her children, Lorraine Laite; Ivan (Jean) Goose; grandchildren, Kerri (Ronnie) Parrott, Brian (Darrell) Laite, Cindy-Lee Gosse; great grandchildren, Kelly Parrott, Sheridan Parrott, Ashton Ellis, Peyton Vardy; sister-in-law, Myra Goodyear; brother-in-law, Donald (Stella) Gosse; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville, Sunday, December 22, 2024 from 7-9 P.M. and Monday, December 23, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to take place from St. Mary’s Anglican Church Clarenville on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Internment to follow at the Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Mary’s Anglican Church Clarenville.

    Kathleen and I are saddened at the loss of Phyllis. Her husband Fred had been a close relative to me but time and circumstance has a way of drifting us apart. Take comfort in your memories and/or your faith.

    Lorraine, Ivan and Grandkids. Carol and I were saddened to hear of Aunt Phyllis’s passing. She was a very special and caring Lady. So glad we got to see her on our visit home last summer. Thoughts and prayers to you all.
