June 19, 1937- April 1, 2020

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Pearl Oldford age 82 from Bunyan’s Cove, at the James Paton Memorial Hospital Gander on April 1, 2020. Predeceased by her husband Ronald and her parents, Marjorie and Samuel Greening, grandson Blair. Brothers Scott and Boyd Sisters Shirley, Belle, and Gloria. Leaving to mourn are her children Ivan (Gail), Irving, Sylvia (Terry), Beverley (Steve), Glen, Cavell (Freddie), Joann (Bill), Marie, Edward (Tammy). Sisters Sylvia, Bonnie, Sister-in-law Denise Greening, 13 grandchildren,14 great grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Lethbridge.

Due to the COVID-19 there will be a private family Committal service at the United Cemetery, Bunyans Cove.

Hello, sincere sympathy at this difficult time. I was Pierce Tucker’s daughter. He passed away in 2016. I hope Pearl passed away peacefully.

I can hear Aunt Pearl saying ‘ Go on don’t be so foolish’. Lol. She had a kind heart, but always spoke what was on her mind. She’s sitting with her sister Shirley (My husband Ron’s mom) now having a good laugh & yarn. Maybe even a nip. Rest easy Aunt Pearl. You will always be in our hearts.

Sorry to hear about your mom’s passing, she was one special lady thats for sure. My mom and dad counted on her and Uncle Ron many times. And i know they are all together once again…. Thinking of you all and remember the good times, they are the ones that will keep you going…. Hugs to you all.
