Condolences

Passed away suddenly at his residence on Sunday, March 16, 2025, Paul Pye of Jamestown, age 64 years. Predeceased by his infant son Garry; parents Clarice and Boyd Pye; sister-in-law Myra.

Left with fond and loving memories his son Dylan; sister Diane Pye (Dave McCarthy); brother Ray Pye (Ruth Knee); parents-in-law Lindo and Mildred Ellis; sisters-in-law Jackie Ellis (Tilson Ash) and Darlene Ellis (Brian Dean); nieces Angela, Jennifer, Stephanie, Terri-Lynn and Chloe; nephews Michael and Jonathan; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge. Visitation on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with cremation to follow. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In his memory donations may be made to the family to assist with expenses.

Dylan, Ray, Diane and families,
My heart was broken yesterday when I received the news about Paul. So many memories have been flashing through my mind ever since. His love of hunting, fishing, especially his beagles.. which I also loved! The fun and laughter as children playing out in the garden, all of us out jigging with Uncle Boyd…the list goes on. He might have been shy but I always got him to chat with me!! Then, he got married and I remember meeting Dylan, the light of his life. He lit up the moment you mentioned his name. We haven’t seen each other since Uncle Boyd passed but we did keep in touch on fb. for which I’m thankful.
I wish there was a way I could be with you today but due to illness, it isn’t possible. I’m with you constantly in love, mind and soul, sending so much love and strength as you work through this dark valley. Hugs to all of you….forever in my heart Paul

Ray, Diane and families sorry to hear about Paul. Normally he was a pretty quiet person but if you were around him for long you would always get a bit of his dry humour that always left you with a smile on your face.
