Passed away suddenly, but peacefully, at Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on January 8th. Formerly of Port Royal, Placentia Bay but was residing in Clarenville at the time of her passing.

Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Josephine Barry, brothers Cyril, Kevin, Edward, Gerard, sister Catherine Baker, brother-in-law Wayne Bussey, as well as her much loved nephews Andrew Baker, Jonathan Breckon, Christopher Bussey and Duane Baker.

Left to mourn with loving memories are brothers, Eugene (Prince George, BC), John (Sandra) Conception Bay South. Sisters Ann Breckon (Prince George, BC) Eileen Bussey (Conception Bay South), and brother-in-law Llewellyn Baker (Come By Chance): sister-in-law Pep Barry (Jersyside); special friend Clifford Kerrivan (Freshwater, PB) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.

Before her health started to decline in 2020 she enjoyed life and was certainly never afraid of a hard days work. Patricia always made time for family and friends and loved nothing more than returning to her home in Port Royal, where she was the happiest. She will be forever missed.

As per her request cremation has taken place and a small gathering of family and friends will follow at a later date.

Patricia was a loving and kind person. We were childhood friends when life was simple and sweet. Going to the “Spirit Rock” with our sleds and sliding down the hill towards Harbour Buffett. However, our cardboard sleds were not equipped with a steering mechanism…so we ended up in the marsh. Rest in peace my dear Patricia. My wife Sheila and I send our condolences to all the Barry family and all her friends. Anselm Hann and family.
