Owen Greene July 11, 1961 - April 4, 2026

Passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 4, 2026, Owen Greene of Clarenville, age 64 years.

Predeceased by his parents, Netta and Thomas Greene, and his sister Donna (Pierce) Blundon.

Leaving behind a lifetime of warm and cherished memories are his son Stephen (Jennifer); his beloved grandson Bronson; brothers Garry (Paulette) and Franklyn (Vaunita); nephews Colin (Bonnie), Damon (Natasha), David (Jennifer), and Michael (Jeannine); niece Krista (Bob); and many great-nieces and nephews. Owen will be deeply missed by his second family; Andy Vardy(Juanita and family), his special friend and bandmate Donna Slade, and a wide circle of family and friends who were always welcomed as one of his own.

Owen was known as a friend to all. He was someone who could light up any room with his kindness, humour, and easygoing nature. A talented musician, he was never far from his instrument, always ready to play a tune, share a laugh, and make sure everyone was having a good time. Music and bringing people together were his true gift.

He found great peace and happiness in the outdoors, especially in the woods and on the water. Whether it was a fishing trip, an ice fishing adventure, or simply time spent in at a cabin, those moments meant the world to him.

Above all, Owen loved deeply. His family was his heart, and his close friends were like family to him. He will be remembered for his warmth, the music he shared so generously and the joy it brought to everyone around him.

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A committal service will be held at Pleasant Street Cemetery, on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 1:00 P.M.
