April 17, 2026 at 7:24 pmA big throw back. When I was little, I remember visiting Nan and Pop and being fascinated by Uncle Mike. He was usually out with friends, and every now and then I would sneak into his room, drawn in by how awesome it was. I still remember the big ACDC letters painted on his wall and thinking how cool he was. Nan would always come and usher me out — and she was right to — but on those rare occasions when he was home, he would invite me in, and entertain me with music and stories.
Those moments stayed with me. Uncle Mike was truly one of a kind, and he will be deeply missed. Rest easy Uncle Mike.
