July 15, 2024 at 11:58 amTo Brother Melvin’s family.
Today as you gather to celebrate the life and home going of brother Melvin , the Joy family at Bishops Falls send their heartfelt condolences and do so with great appreciation for a act of compassion Melvin once provided as a young orderly
. After a difficult time in childbirth our mom was in need of an emergency blood transfusion which Melvin quickly and so willingly was ready to donate thus saving her life. Mom lived to be 93 before falling asleep into the arms of Jesus
Again our thoughts and prayers are with you all today as you celebrate him home .

July 16, 2024 at 11:15 amMelvin was a wonderful person, both inside and out. He was a caring soul, with a good heart. I will never forget the kindness he showed to my husband, Pleman, when they shared a hospital room at Dr. G.B. Cross Hospital. He will always be remembered with a smile. My condolences to you Daphne and the family. Gone but never forgotten.
