Ms Tilley was my teacher at our little school in Hillview which is long gone but the memories of her are, and what she taught me, are not. What I learned from her little classroom could never be taught in any university. Not just our beginner academics and studies but ethics and morals. After I graduated and I saw her anywhere she always wanted to know how I was or what I was doing, and she would always stop and ask how I was and she always would tell me that she knew I could accomplish anything. The encouragement from her was genuine and had a lasting effect on my life and i hope students in this generation could be so lucky to have such a teacher. Rest easy Ms Tilley, thank you for your knowledge ❤️

Joe, William, Lois and the Pelley family. I was saddened to hear of Marina’s passing. My condolences to you all on your loss. I first met Marina through working with Roma and in all the time I knew her, I never saw her without a smile. She was a gracious and elegant lady. We had so many wonderful chats at the post office whenever she dropped by, I always looked forward to seeing her. Again my sympathies to you all on Marina’s passing.

Mrs.Tilley, the only name that I knew you by way back in the mid-70’s when I was in grade 2 or 3 L.R. Ash. I have never forgotten your sweetness and encouragement, and maybe if I was to search I’d find the book ‘Black Beauty’ that you gave me as promised for excellent attendance. Who knows what tomorrow holds but I hope your family will be comforted by their memories of you Mrs.Tilley
