Passed peacefully away at Hilltop Manor in Arnold’s Cove on Thursday, May 9, 2024 Margaret Upshall of Arnold’s Cove aged 92 years. Predeceased by her mom, Cora Boutcher; her husband, John; daughter, Vera Wareham; grandson, David; step-brother, Maynard (Mildred) Boutcher; step-sister, Margaret (Ray) Beaton; brothers, Noble and Lawrence Poole. Left with fond and loving memories her children, Robert (Rose), Curtis, Sheila (Rex), Bruce (Shirley); grandchildren, Todd (Elizabeth), Peter (Paula), Ashley (Erik), Andrew (Sarah), Kai; great grandchildren, Bobby, Marshall, Hannah; sister-in-law, Clara; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home Arnold’s Cove on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. and Sunday, May 12, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to be held on Monday, May 13, 2024 @ 1:30 P.M. from the Anglican Church in Arnold’s Cove. Interment to follow at the Interfaith Cemetery Arnold’s Cove. In her memory flowers accepted or donations may be made to the Diabetic Association. The family would like to thank the staff of Hilltop Manor for their care and compassion over the past 13 years. They went above and beyond to make Margaret and her family feel at home. Also, a special thank you to Susie Butler for her kindness and friendship especially over the last few weeks.
