Margaret Greenland October 24, 1942 - October 8, 2024

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 Margaret Greenland of Clarenville aged 81 years.  Predeceased by her parents, Heber and Mary Jane Baker; brother, Gary Baker.  Left with fond and loving memories her loving husband Robert of 58 years.  Her children, Derek (Agatha), Kim (Dean); grandchildren, Christian and Meghan; sister, Edith (Jack); brothers, Bert (Phyllis), Kevin; and a large circle of family and friends.  As per her wishes cremation has taken place.   Visitations will take place from Fewer’s Funeral Home Clarenville on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M.

    Bob, Derek, Kim, Kevin, Edith, Bert and families we are devastated to learn that Marg has passed away. Whenever we stopped into Clarenville for a quick visit, we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Marg , Bob, and Kevin. Always a great chat, a cup of tea, and a promise to stop by again soon. Know that we share your sorrow. We’ve lost a piece of our hearts.

    Bob and Family, we were so shocked and saddened to hear of Margs passing. Thinking of Marg, good times at Bishops Field come to mind….from yard sales to cards ….she loved a bit of fun.

    To Bob and family, so sorry of Marg’s passing. We’ve known you back since 1973 when be both lived in Bishop’s Falls and then lucky to meet you both again in Cavendish at Bishop’s Field. We have lots of good memories of Marg of telling funny stories, card games, and just getting together for a cook up. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time..

      Marg was truly a special person! I have many fond memories of our times together and laughs we had growing up and whenever we came in contact in later years! She was always the same,, always with that mischievous,, friendly, and welcoming smile. RIP my dear Cousin and special friend.
