Malcolm Clouter August 24, 1939 - July 6, 2023

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. Albert O’Mahony Memorial Manor, Clarenville on Thursday, July 6, 2023, Malcolm (Bon) Clouter of Bunyan’s Cove aged 83 years.

Predeceased by his wife, Ruth (2014); parents, Arthur and Lovelett Clouter and parents-in-law, Belah and Nellie Penney; brothers, Eli (Doris) Clouter, Sidney (Pearl) Clouter, Bart Clouter, Weldon Clouter, Raymond Clouter, Garland Clouter, and Alex Penney; sister Betty Perry; brothers-in-law, Eric Greening, Wilfred (Edith) Penney, Gerald (Silvia) Penney, Barry Penney, and Ernest Smith; sisters-in-law, Whilimena Oldford (Raymond Hobbs) and Greta (Beth) Bill Pye; and biological mother Gladys Penney.

Left with fond and loving memories son Ivan (Maxine); four grandchildren, Jackie (Josh), Jonathan (Noelle), Mason, and Brandon; three great-grandchildren, Claire, Leah, and Oakley; brothers, Llewellyn Clouter, Mark (Laura) Clouter, Wallace (Jane) Penney, Harley Penney, Barry (Lorraine) Penney; sisters, Irene, Shirley (Glen) Marshall, and Anne (Greg) Pitts: sisters-in-law, Joyce Clouter, Rose Clouter, Debbie Clouter, Sheila Penney, Shirley Smith, and Linda Penney; brother-in-law, Clayton Perry (Lois), two very special nieces, Bonnie Matthews and Natasha Chippett and a large circle of family and friends.

Bon’s family would like to express their thanks to all the staff at the Dr. Albert O’Mahony Memorial Manor, Clarenville and Pleasant View Towers, St. John’s for the excellent care they gave him over the past nine years.

Resting at the Anglican Church, Bunyan’s Cove. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 2-4 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.

Funeral service will be held at the Anglican Church, Bunyan’s Cove on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Bunyan’s Cove.

    Being away from home for so long, however, sweet and precious memories linger. Knowing the Clouter family since boyhood, saddened to hear of Bon’s passing. Precious memories linger forever. Ruth and Bon were precious and they leave us with lovng thoughts in which memory will forever carry.
