Mabel Bertha Hollett December 6, 1944 - October 22, 2021

Passed away peacefully at the Dr. GB Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Friday, October.22, 2021. Mabel Bertha Hollett (Trowbridge) of Little Harbour East, formally of Harbour Buffett, aged 76 years. Predeceased by her parents Laura and Samuel Trowbridge; son Claude. She left fond and loving memories with her husband, Stanley, of 57 years ; children Bertha Hann (Nathan), Jim (Connie), Susan Hollett (Gregory). She will also be leaving her seven grandchildren, Kimberly, Christopher, Mandy, Jodi, Dylan, Colin, Jordan, along with her five great grandchildren. Also her sisters Susie (Vince Norman), Connie, Sherrie (Glen). She will also be leaving her brothers, Robert (Marie), Ben (Cathy), Albert, Chesley (Sue), and a large circle of family and friends. She will be resting at St. Andrews Anglican Church in Little Harbour East. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 24  from 7-9 p.m. and Monday, October 25 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the St. Andrews Anglican Church, Little Harbour East. Funeral Service will be 2 PM on Tuesday October. 26, 2021 at the St. Andrews Anglican Church, Little Harbour East, with interment at Anglican Cemetery, Little Harbour East. In her memory flowers will be accepted or a donation to St. Andrews Memorial Fund. In order to attend visitations and service proof of vaccination will be required. Vaxpass or paper proof will be accepted.

 

 

Funeral Service will be 2 PM on Tuesday October. 26, 2021 at the St. Andrews Anglican Church, Little Harbour East. With interment at Anglican Cemetery, Little Harbour East. In her memory flowers will be accepted or a donation to St. Andrews Memorial Fund. In order to attend visitations and service proof of vaccination will be required.     Rest In Peace my beautiful sister. I always told you what a tough woman you were but even the toughest deserve to rest. Even though we were mikes apart you were always in my thoughts. I will miss you. Love you!

    Dearest, Dearest Brother Stan & family: Deepest Love and Prayers as you mourn the passing of your Beloved Mabel. We have so many fond memories of time together especially in Harbour Buffett. Harbour Buffett will never be the same without your Beautiful Mabel and her Beautiful Smile. Without a doubt, Mabel made the best pan fried cod in the world. It’s so sad not being with you.     To the Hollett Family, Phil and I met Mabel many times when we visited his mom, Lillian Upshall and Clayton Upshall, we always enjoyed our visit as Mabel had such a great sense of Humour, we never had the pleasure of meeting you Stan but felt as if we knew you through Clayton & Lillian. We are so sorry that Mabel left us way too early and we were not aware that she was ill or we would have reached out sooner. May your wonderful memories surround you in the days ahead.     Dear brother Stan and family. We are very saddened that you have to bear this. Despite such a great loss, all is not lost. Those 57 years with Mabel are yours for life. That you do not lose. Now it is not Mabel by your side but Mabel in your heart who will comfort you. Her laughter, her quick wit and her smile will be a source of comfort to you many times in the days ahead. She gave you her love. This you will always have. Things are pretty dark right now but she left a good family to help each other through her passing. There are better days ahead. They will come and Mabel will be part of them. Let her strength help you toward those days. She might just have a thing or two to say to you on the way.
