Loretta Jeanette Ash April 20, 1959 - February 14, 2020

 

Passed away suddenly at the Dr. G.B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Friday, February 14, 2020, Loretta Ash of Portland, NL aged 60 years. Predeceased by her parents Kelso and Byrle Cuff; brother in law David Sheppard. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Harley of 43 years; daughter Trina (Trevor Simmonds) ; grandchildren Jordan and Keira of Ottawa, ON; sister Diane Sheppard of Sunnyside; many sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at 7 PM – 9 PM and on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 10 AM – 9 PM. Funeral Service will be 2 PM on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Lethbridge with interment at the United Cemetery, Portland. In her memory, flowers gratefully accepted.

    Harley, it is with deep sadness that myself and Steve offer condolences to you and your family. I will always cherish the many talks we had at dialysis and the encouraging words she gave me to never give up. She was a very strong and uplifting person and I will never forget her.     Harley ,we ran into you while on holidays in Portland last summer and was good to see you again after so many years. Didn’t get to see Ret, but I remember her as someone who was always laughing or with a big smile on her face. Heartfelt condolences from us both.
