Lloyd Eric Wareham March 4, 1946 - May 24, 2022

Lloyd Eric Wareham of Arnold’s Cove aged 76 years passed away peacefully at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022. Predeceased by his parents Billy and Jessie Wareham; parents in law Eugene and Viola Guy; brothers in law Edward and Wayne Guy, Heber Peach, Melvin Newhook, and his special Uncle Joe Wareham. Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Effie of 57 years; daughters Glenda (Clifford), Gail (Oral), Pamela (Curtis), and Penny; grandchildren Ryan (Nicole), Jordan (Samantha), Christopher (Chelsea), Jonathan, and Kallie (Blair); great grandchildren Aliyah, Jake, Jett, Jordyn, and James. He also leaves his sister Florence Peach and her children Dwayne, Denise, Deanna and Dennis, a large circle of family and friends, and his son by choice, Paul. Lloyd is resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home in Arnold’s Cove on Thursday May 26th, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, and Friday May 27th, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Due to COVID recommendations asks are required for the visitation and funeral service. Funeral service is scheduled to take place at the Salvation Army Citadel in Arnold’s Cove on Saturday May 28th, 2022, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel in Arnold’s Cove. Cremation and interment to take place at a later date. Poppy Lloyd as he was affectionately called by his great grandchildren, whom he adored, will be greatly missed by his family.

    So sorry to hear of Lloyds passing , I only knew Lloyd for a short while but found him to be a fine man. We had a lot of laughs on the hunting they had awhile back. Rip my friend !!!

    Our sincere condolences to the family on Lloyds passing. It was an honored to work with this fine man for a number of years at the Come by Chance Refinery. One of the highlights as a co-worker with him and the other shift members was that on most weekend shifts Lloyd would cook up the best Sunday meals that anyone could wish to be a part of. As you journey through the coming days may you cherish the great memories that you’ve shared over all these years. our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time.

    Aunt Effie, Glenda, Gail, Pam and Penny, my thoughts are with you all. Uncle Lloyd was one of a kind. He will be so greatly missed. When I think of him I picture his soft smile and kind eyes.
