Mom’s loving and caring nature touched countless people throughout her life as a nurse and friend to so many. She was a talented quilter, seamstress, cook, gardener, and artist, and had an incredible zest for life. Her big heart, generosity, and sense of humour endeared her to all of us.

Special thanks to Maxine Avery, Sandra Greening, and Mom’s other caregivers at Total Care Nursing, Ashley Matthews at Community Health, the physicians and staff of G. B. Cross and the Health Sciences Centre for their excellent care, and Dr. Jackie Elliott and her husband Tony.
