Jill Vincent-Strong February 23, 1960 - February 17, 2020

VINCENT-STRONG, Jill Darlene – Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Monday, February 17, 2020, Jill Vincent-Strong of Clarenville aged 59 years. Predeceased by her 1st husband Tony Vincent; parents George & Emma Penney; fathers in law Raymond Strong, Fred Vincent; niece Terri-Lynn Holloway; nephew Nathan Humby; sister in law Jocelyn Deir; brother in law John Vincent.  Left with fond and loving memories are her husband Shawn of 14 years; children Matt, Vanessa (Nadim), Tyler (Kayla), Jessa (Andrew); one grandson Jake; sisters Gail (Wilf), Carol (Andy), Michelle (Wayne), Deanne (Rex); brothers Wayne (Peggy), Terry (Anne), June (Diane), Murray (Verlie), Robin (Philomena); sisters in law Doreen (Austin), Mary Lou (Perry), Evelyn (Marvin), Terry (Darryl), Sandy; brothers in law Raymond, Greg (Connie), Austin; mothers in law Shirley Strong and Audrey Vincent and a large circle of family and friends.  Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Memorial United Church, Clarenville with interment to follow at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery.

Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Memorial United Church, Clarenville with interment to follow at Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery.

    Our deepest condolences. Your Dad was Best Man at our wedding and Gene’s best friend.They both became very dear friends to both of us.Your parents were very special people. Their love for you and Vanessa was endless. We are so very sorry for your loss.

    Though I’ve only known you for a short while, your kindness has made an impact on me. You’re zest for life and enthusiasm were infectious and such a sense of humor to turn any difficult day into sunshine. I’ll always be thankful to you for being so friendly during my mother’s stay in the hospital along side of you.
    I will cherish these memories forever.

    Matthew & Vanessa, there are no words to express how deeply sorry we were to hear of Aunt Jill’s passing.. Please know that we are thinking of you both during this very difficult time.
