Jessie was the eldest in a family of eleven children.  Although she never married or had a family of her own she filled the role of caregiver and housekeeper for many families in the area that needed help, and because she was the eldest she also helped care for her younger siblings.  Whenever there was a need, Jessie was there to help.  She was an avid baker, cook and meticulous housekeeper.  She loved to share her baking with others and often shared her cooked meals.

She loved to knit and was always knitting something to give away.  She also loved to socialize and often went to bingo and darts.  Her nieces and nephews were dear to her.  She could be hard as nails when needed or gentle as a lamb.  She had a kind heart.  She didn’t have much but anyone and everyone was welcome to anything she had if you wanted it.  Jessie loved her family and friends unconditionally.  They will miss her.  RIP Jessie.  Loved always.
