To Leeann, Lynnette, Larry & your families:
I have so many memories of your mom – the earliest from when we would visit your family in Gander on Hamilton Street and then later in Lower Sackville. The more recent visits were in Milton and Iris was always so hospitable and kind. When I think of her, the word “gentle” comes to mind. I know that she was very proud of her children and grandchildren and I’m sure you have many great memories to keep her close in your hearts. Thinking of you all…Love, Jodi (Cooper), Matthew, Patrick & Ella Brake (Gander)

I am so sorry to hear of Iris’s death. I remember her well as a little girl in Haystack and later in North Harbour. She was always a very pleasant, considerate person. You could not come away from a conversation with Iris, however brief, without feeling very positive and thinking how nice the world would be if more people were like her. My sincere condolences to her family. You were blessed to have had one of the very best.
