Hector Chaulk – Fewer's Funeral Home

Passed peacefully away at Glenbrook Lodge in St. John’s on Monday, September 7, 2020 Hector Chaulk of Charlottetown aged 92 years. He is predeceased by his wife Irene. Left with fond and loving memories his children Wayne (Carolyn) of Charlottetown, Maxine Gordon (Graydon) of Glovertown, Vernon (Paulette) of Charlottetown, Denise Garland (Chris) of St. John’s; grandchildren Patti, Zak (Debby), Lucas (Heather), Melanie (Zach), Julie (Mitch); great grandchildren Kylie, Allie, Ben, Keyanna, Kloe; brothers Bob (Caroline) of Charlottetown, Mack (Maisie) of Charlottetown and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville on Thursday, September 10, 2020. A private family service will take place at Emmanuel United Church, Charlottetown on Friday, September 11, 2020 with interment to follow at the Community Cemetery, Charlottetown. In his memory, donations are gratefully accepted to the Charlottetown Fire Department.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Hector! We remember him fondly when we see the walking stick, proudly hung in our front entrance, that Hector carved and gave me some years ago!   Uncle Hec was such a kind beautiful soul. When I was in Charlottetown when I was young, I can remember looking over and waving to him when he was working in the shed, playing with Julie in their house downstairs, him taking me out in the sailboat or having a cup of tea with him and Aunt Irene. I send my love and condolences to the family, and I know that his nature and wisdom lives on in you and in all those whose lives he touched.

We were saddened to hear of Hector’s passing..He was such a kind, quiet, wise man who was a friend to all..I’ll always remember how kind he was to me growing up without my parents..always there to offer advice and help..I’ll pray that the Good Lord will wrap his loving arms around you all and grant you peace and comfort..With heart felt sympathy..Anne & Walt Colbert and Family..💔💔🙏🏻🙏🏻😢😢

I was saddened to hear of Hector’s passing today – a sincere, kind, and gentle man – I have many memories of him and the stories shared. I treasure those stories from his heart (and especially those of my Grandfather, George Gordon) and the stick #1043 he gave me always. May God bless you with peace as you journey through grief.

May God grant you peace and comfort you with loving thoughts of a dear loved one. Hector was a kind and gracious man who always thought of others and will be dearly missed by all. My family, especially my mother Doris his first cousin, has many pleasant memories of Hector.

Oh my! What a wonderful man Hector was! I wish his family love, strength, support and lots of super memories to look back on. I worked with Hector for years in Terra Nova National Park. He was always so kind, helpful, quiet and just the best kind. I wish you all well from across the country where we live now on Vancouver Island.
