Harrison Sheppard March 29, 1937 - October 20, 2023

Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Friday, October 20, 2023 with his family by his side, Harrison Sheppard of Charlottetown, Bonavista Bay, age 86 years.  Predeceased by his children Harry and Gladys; parents Phoebe and William Sheppard; parents-in-law Maisie and Melbourne Chaulk; sister Nina Macdonald; brothers Ralph, Sam, George and Bill.  Left to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Jean of 65 years; sons Mike (MJ), Derek (Lisa); daughters Donna (Ed), Norma (Dave); grandchildren Terri (Andrew), Travis (Julie), Christopher (Cynthia), Jodi (Nathan), Jeremy (Jessica), Matthew (Erica), Grant (Milla) and Nicholas (Erika); and a large number of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  Resting at Emmanuel United Church, Charlottetown.  Visitation to take place on Sunday, October 22 from  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Monday, October 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from Emmanual United Church, Charlottetown with interment to follow at Charlottetown Cemetery.  In his memory donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation.

    My sincerest condolences, Harrison was such a nice man, lots of memories come back, growing up, Harrison always had a smile and a nice word to say. Gone but never forgotten.
