Harrison King September 17, 1943 - May 8, 2023

Passed peacefully away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital in Clarenville, on Monday, May 8, 2023 Harrison King of Bloomfield aged 79 years.  Predeceased by his parents, Caleb and Martha King; sisters, Naomi, Cora, Eileen and Evelyn, brother, Ansel; daughter-in-law Heather; grandson,  Jordan. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Bernice of 55 years. His children, Pam (Grant), Paul G., Paula (Craig), Paul K. (Lana), sister, Major Alma, special daughter, Tracy (Leon); grandchildren, Madeline, Martha, Greg (Cayla), Josh (Ashley), Joel, Jon; great grandchildren, Gage, Reid, Brexton, Hudson; a large number of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel in Musgravetown.  Visitation to take place on Wednesday, May 10 from 7-9 P.M. Funeral service to be held at the Salvation Army Citadel in Musgravetown on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. With interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgravetown. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Janeway in his memory.

    Saddened to hear of Harrison’s passing. While working in the finance office of the Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters and Harrison was working at our Camp we developed a great working relationship that I cherish to this present day. Audrey and I send our love to you and your family . We pray that you will find strength and comfort from God in the days ahead.

    So sad to hear of Pops (Harrison) passing. Such a kind and gentle man that loved God and his family. I have no many fond memories of him although distance has kept us apart for the last few years he and his family are never far from my thoughts.
