January 11, 2021 at 11:29 pmTo the Abbott Family,
Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your Mom. My sister’s (Claire) room at the Ruby Manor is directly across the corridor and we will miss our little chats from her door each time we visited Claire. She amazed us on how pleasantly she was able to take you back to her younger years of enjoying working side by side with your Dad. I knew by the way she spoke of him that they were such a wonderful, loving couple. She always had that lovely smile whenever I’d be leaving Claire’s room and her little wave. We were so saddened to learn of her passing. We’re sure all your memories will help lighten the pain during this time of loss. God surely blessed her with a loving, caring family and a long life. God bless, John,Eileen & Claire Delahunty

We are so glad we got to see her not long after she had moved into the care home. Her practical outlook and acceptance of the limitations of the last years of life were inspiring.
