Gilbert Hiscock went to be with the Lord on Saturday July, 5 2025. He was born on September 19, 1928 in St. Jones Without. He lived most of his life in Deep Bight, where he raised his 5 children. He moved to Clarenville with his wife Joyce in 2011. He is predeceased by his wife of 69 years, his grandson Bradley Hiscock and granddaughter Faith Wheaton. Gilbert was a kind and gentle man with strong faith. He was well known for his sense of humour and many stories. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, his many nieces and nephews and friends. Funeral services are to be held at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Clarenville on Wednesday July 9th, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Internment to follow at the Clarenville Interdenominational Cemetery. There will be no visitation as requested by Dad. He enjoyed all the visits from family and friends over the past weeks, months and years.

Last visit I had with your dad all we talked about was going home to be with his wife Joyce..,Absent from the body present with the Lord, so now is where he want to be for years no more pain no more suffering .. my prayers to the family to keep strong, cherish your memories that you have with your dad.
