Condolences

Passed peacefully away at HSC in St. John’s on Monday, June 15, 2026 Bond Keats of Brooklyn age 72 years.

Predeceased by his parents Nora and Clifford Keats, brothers, Roy Keats and Ivan Keats, sister, Ella Baldwin.

Left with fond and loving memories his children, Jason Keats of Grand Falls-Windsor, Jeffrey (Elaine) Keats of St. John’s, Vanessa Keats of Grand Falls-Windsor; grandchildren, Logan, Grace, Jade, Kendra; great grandchild, Jasper; brothers, Warren, Bill, Glenn, Lorne, sisters, Daisy, Anita and a large circle of family and friends.

As per his request, cremation will take place. A celebration of his life will take place at a later date.

I only knew Bond from around Lethbridge. He played and sang at the fire hall many times. He was generous with his time. God rest his soul!

My sincere and deepest condolences to Bond’s family. Especially his children and grandchildren. Who he loved and spoke of often. I didn’t know your father well, but enough to say he was a kind, generous and humble man. Who did good deeds for anybody and everyone. He was always there to lend a helping hand. May he rest in peace.
Bond’s song has ended, but the melody will live on.

It was awesome to get to spend some time with you during our jams in the shed. Thanks for all the words of wisdom and the foolishness. I think the last time we were all together you busted our balls for not playing any good old tunes (lol) so we played Money and you stopped giving us a hard time hahaha. Legends never die! All the best up there buddy.
