Gail E. Boone January 13, 1960 - December 29, 2023

Passed away suddenly on Friday, December 29, 2023, Gail Boone of Hatchet Cove, aged 63 years.  Predeceased by her father Eli (Bill) Jewer; mother Reta (Betty) Butler; sister-in-law Rosemary Jewer.  Left with fond and loving memories her partner of 15 years Ross King; children Shirley Boone and Corbin Boone (Abigail Ellis) and their father James Boone; Ross’s sons Christopher (Stephanie) and William (Megan); grandchildren Alexis Marshall, Sierra Marshall, James Marshall, Kaleb Boone, Miki L’Oiseau, Allie L’Oiseau, Chelsea King, Tayla King, Arianna Ploughman and Ellie Ploughman; sisters Jean (Bill Hutchinson) and Jo-Anne (Dwayne Palmer); brothers Glen Jewer (Sheila), Robert Jewer and Douglas Jewer (Ann); a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville.  Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2nd and Wednesday, January 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. each day.  Funeral service 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2023 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with cremation to follow.

    So sorry to hear about Gail’s passing. I was acquainted with Gail and the rest of her family years ago when Jean and I were in Nursing School and we became re-acquainted at our our last nursing reunion which she attended with Jean. Gail was a lovely person and I know she will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Jean and all of Gail’s family. May she rest in peace. Hugs to all.

    Our family has lost a precious soul. Gail had the kindest and most gentle nature. She will be missed by so many.
